• What is the Alpha Course?

Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha Course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.

It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

There are ten sessions which normally include food, a talk and discussion. The subjects are:
