• Cell Groups are the life of the church
In today’s busy society people are not desperate for more meetings but they do crave close friendships and a common vision to share.
A cell church is one that is centred and structured around its small groups or cells which is the perfect place to build relationships and shared vision. It’s also a great place to discover the gifts God has given you and put them into action.
• What will a cell group look like?
Cell groups are as varied as the leaders that lead them but they do share common characteristics. They each:
·
cultivate genuine friendship and community.
·
offer pastoral care in a small group setting or one to one.
·
reach out to share the love of God with others.
·
create opportunities to discover spiritual gifts and use them.
·
intentionally grow and multiply.
That means there are three types of growth experienced: 1) spiritual, 2) relational and 3) numerical.
At Lighthouse we have cell groups in various locations. You can find a cell that suits you best depending on where you live and what kind of person you are.
