• Healed in a forest
‘I was out walking in a forest one day when I saw an older man walking slowly towards me. We stopped to chat – I had my binoculars with me and he was asking what I had seen, and telling me about the wildlife he had seen. After a while he told me that he had a sore hip which had prevented him from walking far, so he was on his way back to his car. I offered to pray for him, saying that God could heal his hip there and then. He agreed, so I prayed and God healed him immediately. He was able to walk without pain – in fact he strutted up and down the track for a while saying “I cannae believe it, I’ve no’ been able to walk like this for years”. I shared the gospel with him and we walked happily back to our respective cars.’
